If you haven't seen this movie and you want to laugh - and cry - by all means, rent this movie! What's not to love about a cast that includes Toni Collette, Greg Kinnear and Alan Arkin in the performance of a lifetime. It's the ONLY performance by Steve Carell that I've ever liked. Most movies falter with their endings, but this one is perfect. http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/little_miss_sunshine/

I've never seen this one either! I do have a question though, did you mean to say Alan Alda? On NetFlix they don't list him but do list Alan Arkin, that's why I was wondering. I really like Alan Alda.

Quoting: Abigail Breslin, Steve Carell, Toni Collette, Greg Kinnear, Alan Arkin, Paul Dano, Geoff Meed, Robert O'Connor, Beth Grant, Steven C. Parker, Jerry Giles

Yes, yes, Alan ARKIN! What was I thinking? He's one of my favorite actors, but I've never seen him in a role this funny.

This is a GREAT movie. Sheri, there's lotsa F bombs in it, be forewarned. One of my favorites, though. It's basically about a very dysfunctional family that supports and loves each other.

Where's everybody? I thought surely lots of others had seen this movie and might chime in. Anyhow, if you haven't seen it, by all means do. There's not a bad performance in the whole thing.
