This movie was mentioned a while ago but I can't find it. I'm thinking it must have been within a thread not about this specific movie. If there is a thread just for this movie, point me to it and I will move my comments there.
I watched this tonight and I really enjoyed it. I would say it started a bit slow but quickly grabbed my attention. While you knew who the bad guys were from the start, there were many twists and turns along the way that kept my mind thinking.
If you like a good suspense movie, this is a great one!
Quoting:Audrey Hepburn was nominated for an Academy Award for her portrayal of Susy Hendrix, a blind woman terrorized by a criminal (Alan Arkin) who's after a stash of heroin that was planted in her apartment inside a doll without her knowledge. When the stalker isolates Hendrix in her apartment, she must find a way to defeat him in a thrilling, chilling battle of wits, relying on all of her senses -- save her sight -- to stay alive.

It was me who posted it under 'mystery'. Although I still think it should go under 'thriller'. Too many categories to figure out what goes where, I think.

I don't see how to merge them (maybe it's not possible) but I did get them both into the same forum and linked them. Sorry to mess it up Alma! Thanks for mentioning the movie though, we really enjoyed watching it.
There was one time she had it locked (I think when she finally figured out what was going on) and he jimmied it open. I'm pretty sure that all the other times it was unlocked. For a long time though, she thought they were a friend of her husbands and cops.
I liked the girl. I wouldn't say she was a great actress or anything, but something about her I really liked. She was nominated for the Golden Laurel for Female New Face but she received 12th place. She was only in 4 more shows after this movie, which was her first.
Yes, I could tell you liked it, we did too! I'm not sure I would have recognized Audrey Hepburn if I didn't know it was her. I remember her most from On Golden Pond and by then her voice was rather shaky and she was much older.

Audrey Hepburn was not in On Golden Pond. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0082846/fullcredits I believe she died before that movie was filmed, but at any rate, I think you have Katherine Hepburn in mind.
