I just remembered this one. We watched it on DVD and I wasn't sure I liked it till about half an hour in. I usually like just about any movie Alan Arkin is in, though, so I stuck it out. It is funny - and not funny - but ends up making you laugh a lot and feel good at the end. http://movies.yahoo.com/movie/1809823943/info

I know what you mean, it wasn't what I expected. A good movie, though.

Sounds interesting but not so much that I'm going to put it on my list (which is VERY long) just yet. Maybe later if my list starts to dwindle.

Sheri, sometimes you just have to 'dwindle' the list by deleting. I looked at the loooooong queue at our house and asked myself: If we haven't watched this movie in all the months it's been on here, when *are* we going to watch it? I delete a bunch, knowing I can put them back on later if there's still any interest.

A lot of our list is Dark Shadows and one or two other series we are watching. Not really many movies.
