I can add Amadeus to my list, too. Great movie; I loved every minute. I don't think I ever watched Chariots of Fire, at least not the entire movie. Sometimes I avoid the over-hyped, award-winning films as they are usually a disappointment. My best 'for instance' was "American Beauty." I thought that was one of the worst movies ever - and it won an Oscar for Best Picture! Go figure.

Sounds like a movie I could download from Netflix. I'll plan to watch it.

I voted for Raging Bull. Incredible acting and the highest quality of all of those. Most of the rest are entertaining and formulaic. Wings of Desire was interesting and A Christmas Story is my all time fav Christmas movie but I grew up listening to Jean Shepherd on the radio so i knew many parts of the story.

That was really hard! I love all of those movies (except Time Bandits, haven't see that)

A Christmas Story is probably the movie I've seen the most times, I have to watch it at least once every year, and have the Jean Shepherd books, tapes, and CDs. I love his voice!

But, I had to vote for Raiders, it seemed to be the most iconic of all the movies.

Good poll!!

it's deb all time favorite movie. i am sure i have mentioned this but we have the entire Bedford Falls village and even have tree ornaments. i even went on e-bay and bought a signed ornament by no other that Zuzu (i forget her real name) and it's addressed to my wife.i believe she is the only surviving member of the cast.
