This is the movie and not the play which I have seen twice. A movie made4 from a play always is more interest to me because they can go deeper into the story and that is what happened here. I never heard of any of the actors and actresses in this movie but they are good. I don't think the guy who plays Frankie Valli sings good at the guy in the play.

All in all it was a good movie

Beautiful Souls like Frank leave lasting memories in the hearts of those he touched .

There was an interview the other day on a morning show that Clint Eastwood took the guys from the original play and used them for the movie. They were so familiar with the roles from playing them hundreds of times. May be a different cast than what you saw, though.
