But that's what makes the movie, THE movie. The torture has been too clean all these years. We need to see it for the reality it was, to appreciate what HE did.

Don't forget; this is Mel Gibson we're talking about and as of a few years ago, he lost major credibility. Now, he's lost it ALL. I won't see any movie, past, present or future involving this nutcase. Any depiction of biblical events is an imagination of whoever does it; they weren't there.

I agree on all your points Alma. He has lost all credibility.

I can truly appreciate your point of view on this movie, Linda, but still feel the focus was on the torture. I don't need to see that in slow motion to appreciate the sacrifice He made for us.
