Ooh! Ooh!!! I started to read this book!! Don't know why I haven't finished it yet, but I would think the movie would be right up your alley. Wonder if it will still be playing at the end of March?? My son read the book, way before the movie came out. He loved both, but we all love Martin Scorsese in this house. The guy who wrote the book was on our local radio station. He was saying he really doesn't write stories, he develops characters, then looks for a story to put them in. I thought that was interesting. Maybe that's why the critics panned the movie. Well, Sheri (sjweld) and I were able to see Shutter Island this afternoon. I thought it was a really good movie, and very suspensful! I highly recommend it. I had read about half of the book about a year ago, and from what I remembered the movie followed the book (up to the point where I stopped reading it). I give this movie - 5 out of 5!
