Does anyone know what the repercussions of the new health bill will be on Medicare supplemental insurance It is my understanding that the supplement payments to care givers will be so low or non existent that supplemental insurance will simply fade away. In fact correspondence from my supplemental now has a statement on the bottom of the page that says they may or may not offer supplemental insurance in the future. I like my insurance and am worried I may have to give it up with this new law and be stuck with Medicare only and that 20% which can really take a bite out of a retiree with a pillaged and plundered 401K.
The reason most people fail instead of succeed is because they give up what they want most for what they want at the moment.
I asked my doctor the very same question and he said he doesn't believe there will be any changes that would hurt seniors, here in Florida there would be riots.I'm not too concerned about it, and recognize that there is a lot of hype and scare tactics being thrown about and until and unless I am convinced differently I'm not going to worry.
