A very big poor caterpillar of about 8cm on a Brugmansia plant growing wild beside the river, infected by larvae of maybe a wasp.
Gruesome scene but that is unfortunately also an aspect of Nature! Crying

A beautiful elegant Mayfly at night..

Owlflies - Neuroptera

I often found these at night as well inside and outside the house..
In the family Ascalaphidae, (looking much like Ululodes macleayanus from Florida) (Thanks for the research work to Janet Rowley and Mike!)

I'll put this one under the Owlflies but only untill that proves to be wrong (it has the bulging big eyes but no knobbed antennae) Rolling my eyes.
