ID: Topside is blue with black borders. Underside is gray with hints of white and a silver sheen. Both forewing and hindwing have some black spots and markings. Hindwing has light blue marking near tails. A bit larger than the usual hairstreaks 1 1/8 - 1 1/2 inches (3-3.8 cm) in size.

Flight season: Rare stray to south Texas in the fall season.

Caterpillar food: annona

Adult Food: Have seen this butterfly nectaring on white plumbago and bluemist flower.
