You can create a butterfly garden to invite the butterflies that live in your area right to your yard. The first year I had a butterfly garden I was rewarded with regular visitors and the numbers and varieties have increased as more butterfly plants have been added. About the only thing we have to attract butterflies is a butterfly bush.... and it doesn't. Don't know why. But it just doesn't.

So I'm happy to have learned so much about attracting them from your article. Thank you.

One of the most enjoyable things I've done is go to a Butterfly Conservatory in Ontario Cananda. Such beautiful, unfamiliar, colorful butterflies are there.
