| Lee Anne, The few varieties I have all do best in full sun, with heavy mulch to keep the roots cool. Planted 4-6" deep. I've planted shallower with heavy mulch in full sun and in deeper and shallower in part sun and they don't do as well for me. This assumes regular watering. I'm sure Susan will weigh in shortly with a broader view of differing types. I'm curious what zone are you? Do you start indoors or plant in ground? If in ground when? Evan |
