What causes this? How can it be prevented and how do you notice when something's wrong.
Don't wear perfume in the garden unless you want to be pollinated!

I'd love to know the answer to this question also ! We've had 2 hens die in the middle of the day, for no apparent reason and with no obvious symptoms ?!?
We can't figure out why. My mom says there is no why - it just happens and that there isn't anything you can do about it....
Anyone know anything about eggbound hens ?
