|They are pretty easy to sex at two months old. Generally you will notice the Rooster being dominate in almost a fun and playful way, which I think is quite cute. The sign that he is serious is when he begans grabbing her and trying to pin her with his beak. That is when I seperate them. His testosterone will only increase daily but she won't submit til she is ready and that is about nine months old. What happens is if they are left together he will start getting mean with her cause she will fight him as she is not ready. Generally speaking the hen is no match for the rooster and if he is going to be mean then she is probably going to get hurt or at least abused at some point. I just don't allow that...Hay
