I remember sitting in the dirt under an old shade tree and playing marbles as a child. I guess I still have some kid in me cause believe it or not I have a jug of marbles. I have some pretty spiffy looking shooters too.
I have been teaching my grandkids how to shoot marbles and giving them the tips and tricks I was taught when I started playing.
Yes, I'm still sitting in the dirt and shooting marbles at 54 years young. I love to see the smiles the kids give when they shoot that last marble out of the circle and win the game with the most marbles in front of them, saying,"Let's play again MiMi!"
It is amazing the crowd of people that gather round just to look. And smiles gather too!
It's the simple pleasure that bring the best times, don't you think?

I am so glad you have all those marbles, April.

And even better that you are teaching your grandkids. Thank you.

Family Fun - Wireless & Unplugged

I created this cubit to share ways of motivating families, especially children, to get outside, and activities to do once everyone is outside. Being outdoors is a wonderfully fun and healthy activity. Let's share indoor unplugged activities, as well.
