Thanks for alerting us all about the new cubit which was created to honor Sharon and keep her friends together in one place. It's been in existence less than a week and I already feel quite comfortable there. Sharon would be so proud that what she has started will continue, and the friendships that have been made will remain. |

As one who posts only rarely, it is wonderful to know that I can come here and be as comfortable as I was when Sharon was still with us. Thank you all so much Arlene, Vic and Lance too..... |

Lance, That was so beautiful. I had to stop and dry my eyes. I couldn't see thru the tears. Sometimes I still forget she is gone. That made me remember that she is, but it also brought her to life. Thank you for the perfect words. A small town has no secrets except itself |

Lance, thank you for writing that poem -- for Sharon, and for us -- and for the equally beautiful article that followed. I know she's so proud of you & Vic & Arlene & all who have been posting there, proud of your talent with words and photos, proud of your strength and faith, proud of the kindness and love found in your words here and throughout the new cubit. I'm looking forward to making brand new friends on the chat thread at "Sharon's Friends" as well as catching up with old ones. Circles of Support for Breast Cancer I'm learning to dance in the rain! This is a lovely article, about a lovely lady and a wonderful group of friends. Great job setting up the new forum Vic and Arlene. ![]() |

Thank you, Lance, Vic and Arlene, for your hard work and for continuing what Sharon began. She would want us to continue without her, no matter how hard it is, and it helps to reminisce and re-read her articles and comments. I am glad to drop in now and then. Thank you all for reading and letting me know it was well done, it is good to know the efforts are appreciated. Now I did say no more crying, and even apologized if I brought any of you to that, but I still had some creativity left in me for Sharon and her friends. Sharon will be forever missed, really no way to get beyond that, more a matter of remembering and continuing as she has done so many times, and would want us to do as well. Never gone, never forgotten, just moving on to the next stage as well as we can. Love the poem, Lance, thanks for the heads up! I am proud that Sharon regarded me as a friend, She is a tremendous loss to me, to all her friends and cubits. It is a great tribute to this wonderful truly inspirational person that we all keep her legacy alive. In my life, I've met too few that inspired so many as did you. You inspired me to write gave me confidence, told me I had rhythm in my word, elevating me to new heights. I and we miss you, Sharon. Miss you more than most so raise up your glasses folks. To Sharon, a toast. God bless, Rip. Love Jon. |

Jon, that was lovely and Sharon would be profoundly touched that she was able to inspire you to have confidence. ![]() |

That was truly an inspiration, Jon. Sharon has obviously touched you in a way that you will hold on to forever. In a way, she seems to have thought of us all as her children, regardless of age. She nurtured us, instructed us, praised us and made each one of us feel special. I miss her so much. |

Jon, that is just what Sharon did. She inspired, encouraged, and showed us our strengths. She saw things in our words and showed them to us. You've said it beautifully. Thank you. Well done, Jon, keep the muse in you thriving for all of us to share when the urge strikes. She inspired so many of us. But as I am here chatting and reading with our friends, it feels like she is here, too. Her spirit is alive and well for sure. I think she would be proud of all of us as we move forward. Yes, I think we were like her "kids" in a way. She loved us all for who we were and she wished for all of us the very best out of life. Oma |

Oma, I think she was proud of all of us too. She was surrounded by good people who were all different, yet all the same. We all ended up thinking ''alike.'' Not that we copied each other, but that we bettered ourselves by being around each other. She had the gift for that. I see her as even more incredible. I treasure all of you.
