Hi Tina!

My compost piles are steaming away (mix of horse manure, vegetable leavings, grass cuttings and waste paper) and I just found a free source of wood chips! Thought only you would be excited as I am over this Drooling

Mine is not steaming but it is only leaves, it's about all I can get. I did get one load of wood chips, first one in ten years, from where they trim back for power lines. I work where people rake their yards and can not burn so they bag them and I bring them home. Last Winter I got about 6,000 bags but this Winter I was not able to get near that many. I built a pen out of chicken wire 30' X 20' and just piled them in. It takes over a year for them to break down but I have time, what I don't have is enough compost.
