Hi, Al, thanks for the link. I'll go take a second look in a minute. So nice to be able to be here on cubits again!

Al, I want to say that you changed my entire concept of container gardening! Before, I thought peat was the ultimate potting soil. Wow, plenty of suffocated plants! Now I pot with shredded stuff the big truck out in the street leaves, and i don't pack it down. I make a kind of bowl, the shredded stuff loosely on the bottom third, and up the sides, and then my potting mix, often Pro Mix, in the middle. Air to the roots! I should make a bumper sticker!

Al, I owe you so much! So do my plants!

OK, about this other place, you know, it's nice to have two websites to bounce between. Hum, Wow, No welcome or anything, and I clicked on the home page, not attractive at all! A great part of gardening is beauty! That place looks like a test at school in accounting class, teehee. And, uh, oh, tiny writing. I'm getting so accustomed to the easy reading here.

See what happens when there are no artists. I read someplace that art programs have been eliminated in many schools.

Al, suggest there to have pictures, flowers, veggies, little piles of fluffy mulch! Think of how different a seed catalogue looks.

Yes, tell them they need seed catalogue designers to help with their site. Easy posting of photos! Hey, look at my hibiscus!

Al's (tapla's) Container Garden

A good place to explore, if you're looking for answers to questions about soils, fertilizers, or container culture that require slightly more technical answers.
