|Bleek, Hooray, Lip biting time! I have been going over my spring bulb pictures to see where I need to add bulbs. I also have a couple of new beds to plant as well as an a major area that is having new timber walls put in to replace the old rotten ones, so that area will need to be totally replanted.
This construction site is outside the deer fenced area, so I will mostly need Narcissus, Hyacinthus, Scilla, Alliums, Muscari and Iris. Before we started the demolition we moved as many Narcissus and Iris as we could before we brought in the excavator, but it broke my heart to know years of Scilla and Muscarii would be dug up. I had them put the top foot that they dug out in one pile which I will use some place to see if any return.
I am changing the plans to reconfigure where the stairs go down to the lower terrace which will give me a better bed layout for more plants. Hooray, again. So bring on the bulbs. Patti
