Thanks for coming to my aid folks!
Had to be sure you were "on the job" before winter really hits!
Keep 'em coming!
I didn't have a camera with me, but today I met the sweetest dog. He greeted me as I walked into a business and the human there said "Looks like you two have known each other all your lives." When I had sat down, he came up and laid on one of my feet while I talked to the human.
Name: Mary (Marti) Nelson Ventura, CA Peace and long life
When I lived in Calif., I worked for an Oilfield Service Co as an office manager and Brody was the boss's dog. Brody road in the truck and chased squirrles and rabbits when the boss stopped to work on a pumping unit out in the oilfields. After a bout with valley fever, Brody was not allowed back to the fields and spent the day in the office with me. If I finished work and it was time to go home and the boss was not back yet, Brody went home with me. I took care of him for 8 yrs and we became good friends. He and I spent many days at the river in Bakersfield were Brody chased squirrels and went swimming. Brody would catch a squirrel and kill it than he'd bring it to me so that I could see what a good boy he was.
Now Brody is a home dog, deaf and going blind. I miss him and his boss is not lookiing forward to the day he has to make that last decision about Brody.
