|When I lived in Calif., I worked for an Oilfield Service Co as an office manager and Brody was the boss's dog. Brody road in the truck and chased squirrles and rabbits when the boss stopped to work on a pumping unit out in the oilfields. After a bout with valley fever, Brody was not allowed back to the fields and spent the day in the office with me. If I finished work and it was time to go home and the boss was not back yet, Brody went home with me. I took care of him for 8 yrs and we became good friends. He and I spent many days at the river in Bakersfield were Brody chased squirrels and went swimming. Brody would catch a squirrel and kill it than he'd bring it to me so that I could see what a good boy he was.
Now Brody is a home dog, deaf and going blind. I miss him and his boss is not lookiing forward to the day he has to make that last decision about Brody.
