It should be interesting. I've never had baby chicks before. Hilarious! It just kinda happened, since you cannot plan when your hens will go broody. It started with one hen laying on the eggs, and a couple of days later, it was two hens! So I've been counting the days (which should take about 21 days to hatch) and don't even really know how many of them are fertile or not?

I've been getting all nervous about it, trying to figure out if I need to get a bed or container to put them in, special bedding, lights, this or that Shrug! but hubby told me to just relax and let the hens do their thing with no interference.

It should be interesting...

p.s. I'm still a nervous mother hen myself!!
