Last night of work and then, hopefully, 4 days off!
I meet a lot of people in my glamorous job as gas station attendant *giggle*. I make just a hair above minimum wage, which, here in Canada, is just over $10/hr. Can't complain.
I used to wish I made more money and maybe avoid the being broke a few days before payday syndrome. Then I started meeting a lot of people who I knew made very good money, and they were counting change to buy a few dollars worth of gas...just like me!!
So, I've learned that it doesn't matter how much money a person makes...the more we make the more we spend. Sure, they've got bigger houses and bigger, fancier cars and toys...but in the end, we're all equal....standing at the counter of the store counting out change to get a few dollars worth of gas or food to do us until payday.
See you around the Universe!
