Cubits 'n Bytes Newsletter

By Lee Anne Stark (threegardeners) on December 20, 2010

News and events around the Cubits Universe.

It's going to be a long two weeks. I'm scheduled to work 92 hours, including a 12 hour shift on Christmas day. I volunteered for that so the girls with kids can have the day off.

Vote For Your Favourite Photo!!

All entries are in and the voting process has begun in the first ever photo contest being held in the newly formed Universal Photo Contests Cubit.  What a talented group of photographers we have here on Cubits! The theme for December was "Artistic Approach". Please click HERE to vote for your favourite photo.

Joke of The Week

Special Day

Over breakfast, a woman said to her husband, “I’ll bet you don’t know what day this is.”

“Of course I do,” he answered, as if offended, and left for the office.

At 10:00 a.m., a dozen red roses arrived at the house. At 1:00 p.m., a two-pound box of chocolates was delivered. The designer dress arrived at 3:00.

When her husband came home, the woman ran to meet him and threw her arms around his neck, “I’ve never had a more wonderful Groundhog Day in my life!”.

Through a series of unfortunate events I almost lost someone dear to me this week.

The one thing that kept popping into my head was that I'd never be able to tell him how important he is in my life. I'd been known to get a wee bit short with him when he called a hundred times a day....but now I'm thrilled when he calls because I never knew just how much I'd miss those calls when I thought he'd never call again.

It is now a week before Christmas. The best gift you can ever give anybody is to tell them just how much they mean to you.

Go do it now...right now before you get sidetracked with life. Right this very minute. Tell everybody that is important to you just how very important they are, beacause you never know, an hour from now they might be gone and you won't get a scond chance.

I was given a second chance and I told him how much he means to me. Please do the same, before it's too late.

See you around the Universe!
