Cubit MEMBER issues forum: This cubit takes forever to load

it's banner. I in firefox too. Have noide a why but took almost 2 mintues to load. http://cubits.org/Cottage/

The banner is 1533x667 in size and weight a whopping 713KB in size. The owner of that cubit needs to make the banner 125px high instead so it doesn't kill all the dialup users! They're using a lot of bandwidth each time the page is loaded, too.

If they downsize their banner be sure to tell them not to make the banner too narrow in height and make sure it is 125 pixel and Not less preferably exactly 125 pixels because it might end up showing blank on some browsers.

No worries... Neil sent me a picture yesterday and asked me to make it into a banner. He's already loaded the new one and it's the recommended 125x1200.
