Dave:

I'm not sure if this has been requested previously, but - is there any way that there could be an option to place a thumbnail beside individual forums on the Cubits home pages? (Appearing something like on the thread pages). I just think it would be more visually pleasing and possibly make it more interesting and easier when trying to locate a specific forum.

Thanks
Kathy

Yes, that's do-able but would require a bit of programming. Could you bump this up again if it doesn't get done in a reasonable time?

Right, bump this thread.

To clarify here, you're talking about being able to have thumbnails in the forum list that appears on your own cubit's front page?

Like for example this page: http://cubits.org/zanysplaypen/

Sure we can bump it up again ... but reasonable time...is subjective.

Just a thought. But can we limit the size of these to be the same as our personal avatars so they are uniformly applied and can't get out of hand?

Yes, each forum would have it's own unique avatar that would display on the watched forums lists.

Similar to what is on my threads. Every one likes the visual appeal and feels it draws them into the Threads. That would be great if we could do the same for the Forums.

oh...oh...oh...and since you're gonna be programming...what about the individual unique banner for each forum too??

One thing to keep in mind about the banners is, you're trying to build a brand. So, it's probably a good idea to develop a color scheme and banner look and stick with it throughout your whole cubit. Then your members and visitors will come to associate that look with your cubit.

It could get very confusing if the look of the page changes everywhere you go in your cubit.

Just a thought...
