That time limit thing sounds pretty workable to me and I wonder if we could use it on names too...I am pretty sure that I had registered with DG under 2-3 different names in the years leading up to joining. I moved from Hawaii to Missouri in 1995 and was almost completely lost as a gardener...it was so completely different that I needed to google everything and DG was always there. ISP matching would not have worked to clear up that mess, as I moved 3 times in the 12 years that I was there and probably changed ISP's every 18-24 months. E-mailing my account that had not been used in the previous year would have caught up with me though... My last 2 providers are still sending me mail as if I am a customer, so I'd guess that it would catch up with folks like me. Something to think about when folks request a name that isn't available, but hasn't been used in quite a while.

Please dont take away my ghostown...I like to go there when I want to be alone! Rolling on the floor laughing
I dont think anyone else can see it. I will have to logout and go check.

Unless of course you get offered alot of money for the cubit name "chris", then we'll talk.

I agree Instead of partying, the kids should be shopping for interview clothes or spending their (own) money in some way that enhances their lives.

Good points made here... I've removed "cubit members" from my access lists until such time as I'm actively working with my cubit. I'm still working on various ideas, and some of you know why I'm distracted this summer, so it may take me a while... or I may be able to take advantage of my down-time.

I haven't put that much development time into what's actually up on the site, and I could easily rebuild what I've got there at present, so if you decide you need to take me down while I'm inactive, please let me know (and I'll quickly jot down a backup plan).

No need for that.

One persona has a cubit just to test stuff out with, so they don't have to worry about messing up "the real thing". That's fine.

I just like to clean up those cubits who have been abandoned completely.

OK, thanks! I'm still popping in and out of this site on a daily basis (and then some), so I definitely haven't abandoned anything.

I noticed the African Violet Cubit seems to have been abandoned. I don't grow AV's any longer but still like to pop in and check out what's going on and learn about them from other folks .. and of course see pictures. I know Nichole has young children so she is probably busy with family stuff, the kids and end of the school year, etc. Hopefully she will be able to return to continue to "grow" her little cubit in the near future.

I don't know how those of you with young children do it all! I tip my hat to you. My hat's off to you!

Critter: Thoughts and prayers still with you as you fight the "C" battle. I know God is looking out for you and has his Angel's to help you get through this difficult time. Hang in there and keep fighting! Surrounding you with many Group hug ((((( Hugs)))) Group hug

I guess my cubit was deleted. I didn't intend to abandon it - just had computer, digital camera, personal and health issues that took precedence.

would have preferred to have been notified before the cubit was deleted.

I did not delete your cubit.

Although it was on my list as a "probable ghost town", since you haven't posted anything to it since Feb 11th.

Trish.... Go ahead and delete my " All Things Classic to Vintage" cubit. I am just going to incorporate it in to my other cubit. Trying to keep my main one going is a lot of work and a jar of peanut butte r onyl spreads so far and time wise right now, I am scrapping the bottom of the jar, plus it will work in with some other forums I am developing.

Sorry for hogging space. *Blush*

I'll check again. A storm took out my modem and three phones. I am still having trouble on the lines. I'll check again. I'll try to start adding things as soon as I get this sorted out.

Trish:

You can go ahead and remove Cubit Lane, but could you leave 'Only In New Hampshire'? I really need to re-work that one so that I can manage it.
