Every time I go to upload a photo, I get a small window directing me to Davesgarden.com

That's interesting. Are you trying to pull a photo off your hard drive? when you choose a picture, right click and choose from the pull down menu "properties". Write down the full path and post it here. Then maybe we can help you.

What??? That doesn't make any sense. Can you take a screenshot of what's happening?

Exactly what steps do you need to take to make this happen? And is it happening consistently?

IT may only be happening on this computer and may have something to do with the browser settings. Let me try it on my other computer.

No, it's not there using IE and windows.

Was using the Mac before, wasn't sure whether I had Safari or Firefox open.

Trying the MAC again.

This time I got a different pop up, something about a Linux Training base, That was on the preview button for the upload.

I think it has something to do with one of the browser's features. That one popped up so fast, I couldn't get the cursor on it.

It has given me DG pop up windows quite a bit. Meant to ask about it yesterday.

Yes, Dave it is consistent. Got my attention right away and has been doing it since I started using this computer about a week ago. I still go on DG once a day or so , so it was making me confused about which site I was posting too.

Stormy, do you know how to take a screen shot?

Arlene, I don't know how to do much of anything on this Mac. Still figuring it all out. Hunt & peck Hilarious! Truth is, I knew more of how to operate the computer when we had DOS. Hilarious! It was like short hand. You learned it once and they never changed it.

Hold down the APPLE [Command] and SHIFT keys
Press 3 for a screen shot of the entire screen

Then you have to paste it into a program and save it as a .jpg file where ever you keep your pictures on your hard drive.

I have never even seen a mac so I don't know what program that would be for you.

For my PC, windows comes with a program called "Paint". That's what I use.

Here is an example of what a screen shot looks like. There is even a tool and you can pick your color and draw a cirlcle around the item you wish attention to be drawn to.

You know, Google is your best friend. You may have to do some googling for instructions.

Thanks, Arlene. Running out of time online today. Will try it later. The cubit is keeping me busy.

Dave, I was wrong, it is intermittent, but fairly frequent.
