Start having fun! Go browse the hundreds of cubits and find some that are interesting to you. When you found some that you like, click on the "Join this cubit" button on the right side of the page.

Each time you join a cubit, you can then always return to the main homepage and see all the cubits that you have joined.

You should also set your public profile so that when you make posts, others can see your avatar picture and learn about you through your informational signature lines, etc.

Welcome to Cubits! I agree that the chats here are good.

I had to look up Tenkasi to see where it is and spent several hours exploring it on the internet. It looks like it is a wonderful city.

I still don't know how to post a picture to a cubit, like Plant Identification. Any help?

Hi Alan, welcome!

It's easy to upload a photo, you can put more than one photo in a single post.

At the bottom of the box you type in, there is a tab which says "upload an image". By clicking on that a box will pop up giving locations to choose from on your computer. Find your photos, open the folder which has the photo/s you want to post then click on the photo you want to upload, and click on the 'open' button at the bottom. The upload button will show you are uploading the photo, it wobbles about, when uploaded it will put a link in the text box. First make sure your flashing indicator is on a new line or the photo will cut into your type.

Each upload will go beneath the previous one, so by placing your flashing indicator at the left side of the second upload and using the back arrow you can place it second in line to the first one. You can usually fit three photos to a line, or less if you have a small monitor but you can place several photos in a single post. Once you have everything done, click on the 'preview' button to see what you post looks like. At that stage you can still rearrange your text and photos, when satisfied click on 'finish'.

You can still edit the post after you have sent it if you need to change something.
