Yes, that flower is just about that color. I grow 3 Hollyhills purples together...Hollyhill Joy, Hollyhill Purely Purple and Hollyhill Regal. Regal is another favorite purple, not quite as deep and true as this but close and it never fades either in the garden or in a bouquet. IT also grows very tall. Hollyhill Joy is bigger, shorter and slightly more red a purple but a beautiful flower too. I have quit trying to grow most other purples because these are such fine ones. I do like Worton's Blue for its amazing shade or bluish lavender, and I love Fremont's Memory for its big sturdy red purple bloom. I liked Diva but it went a bit virusy so I don't have it this year.
