Seems like every bride and designer wants the cafe au lait variety for their wedding this year and next year--they're already booking weddings and letting me know that trend is continuing. I'm beefing up on my CAL tubers for next year, but would like to grow other options that would pair nicely with CAL and/or be a 'stand in' as well. Obv nothing is exactly the same, but looking for suggestions I may not have considered...since the collective 'variety' knowledge among us all is pretty amazing!

A few on my radar already. These are not necessarily same color exactly, but have the same 'family' of color.

KA's Cloud--can't buy in bulk from a wholesaler and is expensive, but hopefully I can get a few tubers and build them up from there. The pale pink fading to cream would be perfect for a complement.
Porcelain-- bought one of these this year, have yet to see it really bloom (got a tiny one off it a while ago), also not sure how great of a tuber keeper it is.
Innocence--bought this 2 years in a row from Swan with the tuber just really not being very vigorous, however I've seen other farmers blooms of it and it's gorgeous. Might be a bit too yellow.
Castle Drive--I have this one, it's gorgeous and appears to be prolific, maybe too much of a yellow tone in the middle til it fades out. I've only had one bloom, so hard to say. More budding.
French Doll--in pics online looks like creamy pale apricot, maybe too much yellow in some pics.
Sugartown Sunrise--again maybe too much yellow, maybe too cotton candy of a pink.
Ice Cube-same form as CAL, same slightly mottled petals, might work. Grew this last year but it was end of season when it bloomed so the blooms were not appealing.
BJ's Dusty Rose-might try this one from Red Hawk next year.

Any other ideas/thoughts? Ideally the same blush/pale pink color but not too much 'yellow' as a companion.

Ted-- how is your cafe substitute coming along? If you need someone over on the East to trial let me know haha.

Thanks everyone! I know the Cafe topic is not a favorite amongst us but hoping you all can help me anyway hehe..
