We enjoy breeding new dahlias!
Back in 2005 this brightly colored seedling bloomed for the first time. My wife has insisted that we grow each year and we are always amazed by it's "neon" purple color that is very similar to Thomas Edison. It has very loose form and grows a bit tall and does not have all that many flowers but it sure is purple.Thumb of 2012-12-30/teddahlia/137ce9
We like to place a sign on our porch that says: We are in the garden. Really, we are always in the garden.
