Truth should be everpresent.
I am seldom able to hike anymore as I am not up to it physically but I really pushed myself last Saturday and went for a bit of a walk. There is a national kyaking competition going on each weekend this month on the Russell Fork river near my home. I got there too late to see any boats but I did take a few pics. I hope you enjoy them.

Sorry I didn't see these sooner. I thought something would come up on my home page when something new was posted. I guess not.

Anyway, that looks like a neat place to walk. There was a time when I would not hesitate to walk across that railroad bridge, but anymore I've gotten excessively afraid of heights. That tunnel is so dark that it looks like you blacked out something that you didn't want us to see.

I walked across the tressle and up the track a ways but it was getting late so I didn't go far. I also went into the tunnel but it curves and as it was getting late there was no light in the middle. I didn't have my flashlight so I turned back. I was disappointed I got there late because there is a beautiful waterfall past the tunnel that I was hoping to take pics of.

Day Hikes

This forum is for posting pictures and/or telling stories about your day hikes. What is a day hike? For the purpose of this forum, I define it as a hike or long walk on trails or roads that are primarly for transport by something other than motor vehicles
