We got the first 2 beams up in the kitchen today one more and the ceiling can start going in

these beams are 4 x 6 & 193" (16')long I will have arms like popeye by the time we are finished Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing we have 4- 204"(17') long & 2 -96" (8') long beams to put up in the living room

We were talking yesterday that we are a tiny bit jealous of a few friends that have built new homes this summer ( they had them built ) that are already to move in or already moved in .. But then we look around and see what we have done yes its going to be an AWESOME HOME Big Grin if we ever get finished we have to be ready to live by Jan. for insurance reasons Thumbs down

another beam up today my arms are black & blue Whistling there are 2 more small beams to do.
not sure I can handle the bigger beams they are 19' will be cut down to 17'

Sheesh! Yep...get Olive Oil in there to help ya'! I could hardly handle the 22' cedar deck boards I used to build the porch! (and I shore never had to lift them into the sky!!!)

It is just going to be the most lovely place!!!

We just have to carry them across the house to the saw & sanding area then back to the kitchen we use a pullie to get it into the air thats the easy part. JC put up some of the ceiling after I left the house .. will get pictures tomorrow he says it looks Great ..
