Oh Linda...if you only knew the story of Ellis. Not ever in the plan (what is that anyway?) but tripped me up for way too long to make a normal life (what is that anyway?). Thanks. The floor is a very nice one. I was going to put the same in the kitchen but when I started pulling up floors and subfloors, I ended up with an ash base. That was never intended to be a floor itself, it's soft and slivers, but it is humble. I left it alone for a couple of years musing about what to do but it is level with the dining room (oak hardwood) floor and the adjacent hallway so I sanded the best that I could, put down some stain just to see, then when I decided it suited the cottage, I did poly it. It's a bit rugged but especially in the winter, it feels so warm and soft under my morning feet that coffee tastes better. Smiling

Ok so we got there at 9:05... and there were cabinets everywhere & they still had 2 truck loads to be unloaded,
they had some that would work for us. They were the Oak with oak finish. & unfinished oak. so ill have to finish about half of them . but for the price I would do them all... they are not only made in the USA but made right here in Texas Hurray!
JC jiggled the numbers to make sizes fit the space ... The Laundry room now has Cabinets all the way up to the 10' ceiling on both sides
good thing we took the trailer Rolling on the floor laughing
Thumb of 2011-08-27/denimangle/65c900
Thumb of 2011-08-27/denimangle/1e15e9
then as a topper we found a deep sink for the mudroom side of the laundry. This Really Litup JC's Face its a $1200.00 sink $122.50 is what we paid
Thumb of 2011-08-27/denimangle/b5913a
we will be going back to find more treasures
