By Annmarie Bailey on November 17, 2010

As an Insurance Agent for 20+ years, I learned from other owners mistakes that Fido should never be allowed to travel unrestrained in a vehicle, nor be left unattended in a vehicle. I have taken many claims over the years where beloved pets and people were injured,or vehicles were damaged, all due to unrestrained, unattended or improperly restrained animals. All of these claims were unnecessary losses.

This was an excellent article that I will share with all of my dog loving friends. In fact, I just finished sending out several emails on the subject.

I edited this post to take off a video link on this same subject that no longer works for me. Strangely... it still works at my "Gathering Place" website but not when pasted into either Firefox or Internet Explorer or clicked on here at Cubits. Computers......love em but hate these stupid glitches that drive us nuts!!!!!

Go to "The Gathering Place" link below and see if it works for you:
While there, you will also find these topics that you will probably want to read when you have the time. I will probably eventually put them on this cubit but until I do, please read them there.

Annmarie, thanks for the great article. I will copy the other doggie danger information at my other site over to this one in the next few days. While you are over there, you might want to look over the rest of the pet forum. I figure I have a lot of other stuff posted there that I can review and possibly copy over here. I told Lance that I have had 6 1/2 years to build there and don't mind repeating some of it over here. If you ever have anything you want to post over there, please feel free to do so. I would love to have you post in both places or link from one to the other. I plan to link back and forth with some of the stuff too. I put a link there this morning telling about your article and I feel sure it will bring traffic over here to read it.

Thanks for trying it here. I have no clue why I couldn't get it to work. When I copied and pasted from my site to the post here and clicked it, it just gave me a page saying, "link no longer available." I just finally gave up and removed the link and directed everyone to my site. DUH!!!! Computers!!!!

Talk about hijacking our own thread!!!!!! At least there is no one to blame but little old us. After all, it is our thread, so who cares? Maybe we need to act a little more mature.
NAH! No fun in that.
Ok! I will try but I can't promise a lot.
