Interspecies Soccer Play - Dog vs. Deer Incredible! A dog and a deer are having fun playing ball. Note from Photographer: "My brother found this deer alone and malnourished when it was a tiny baby. My family bottle fed the baby, named Theen, until he was eating grass. Several months later he's very socialized with people, our black lab, and our cats. He is free to wander if he likes and we've seen him with several herds of whitetail and axis deer. Apparently he fits in just fine with them. He frequently comes back to the house to eat some cat food and play with our dog, Buddy." http://www.flixxy.com/soccer-play-dog-vs-deer.htm Please join me at the following Websites: Friendship Corner ~ The Gathering Place ~ Dogs - Everything You Ever Wanted to Know |

Useful Dog Tricks Jesse is an amazingly useful and intelligent Jack Russell Terrier who loves helping around the house. "Jesse chooses to do the behaviors in this video, and has so much fun bringing smiles to people's faces. He gets treats for doing his tricks, and enjoys learning new things. Jesse loves adventure, and lives each and every day to its fullest. Jesse is my best friend and truly a member of the family and I love him with every beat of my heart." The Jack Russell terrier is a small terrier that has its origins in fox hunting. Originating from the dogs bred and used by Reverend John Russell in the early 19th century, it is a high energy breed which relies on a high level of exercise and stimulation. Jack Russell terriers have appeared multiple times in film, television and print with several historical dogs of note. I was just sent this link by my cousin. It says it all on how many of us feel about our canine companions. http://www.angelfire.com/ak2/intelligencerreport/boy_dog.htm... |

Here's my favorite of all time. I am biased as I have a Border Terrier (BT) which is one of the 2 breeds in this. The BT in this is somewhat groomed to appear more "disreputable" than the normal BT. I laugh evey time I see it! All in good fun. ![]() http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yuzi6Ys-jNc ![]() "If there are no dogs in Heaven, then when I die I want to go where they went." Will Rogers |

Elena, I didn't know Jesse was your dog. I was sent that video in an email from my brother. I have watched it many times and still love watching it. Not only is Jesse and amazing dog, but so happy and willing. He is enjoying live to the hilt. Thanks for sharing. I am still laughing over the BT video. ![]() ![]() |

It worked for me, but the original post didn't have the photo of your adorable BT Ann. |

I know. for some reason the photo didn't take the first time so I had to go back & edit it & then it appeared. I think that may have been whatever the problem was with the link the first time too. At any rate..... I like to call the video "The Battle of the Borders". In truth I love Border Collies too --- our last dog was an Aussie Shepard --- so close to Border Collies ---- but I love ALL breeds regardless. With the holidays, I hadn't had time to watch some of the videos posted. Now I'm going back to do that. "If there are no dogs in Heaven, then when I die I want to go where they went." Will Rogers |

Oh Elena! Jesse is AMAZING! And so is Heather for training him to do all that. Have a good mind to send Pearl up there & have her trained like that. Very cool! "If there are no dogs in Heaven, then when I die I want to go where they went." Will Rogers |

Lynn, Jesse isn't my dog but I wish that he could be. Thanks everyone for the cool videos. That dog and little boy video is one of the cutest ones I have ever seen. What patience that dog had! Not all dogs would tolerate that kind of activity for so long. We had a collie when I was young that loved children that much also. When we got a little bigger and she didn't "baby sit" with us, she would go over to our neighbor's house and let the little kids use her as a play toy much as the dog did in the video we just saw. She loved little ones so much that she had to seek them out after we weren't little any longer. She lived 14 years so we grew up watching her love for little children that never left her. Work out … with your dog at "Thank Dog BOOTCAMP" in Burbank, California This is a neat idea. Maybe more camps of this type will spring up in other parts of the country. http://news.yahoo.com/s/yblog_weekend/20110107/ts_yblog_week... http://www.thankdogbootcamp.com/ Please join me at the following Websites: Friendship Corner ~ The Gathering Place ~ Dogs - Everything You Ever Wanted to Know |

Some fun & entertainment with Border Terriers: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JuUGYOIn18c "If there are no dogs in Heaven, then when I die I want to go where they went." Will Rogers |

Earthdog demo. The smaller terriers participate in this. If you've ever wondered what goes on down in those tunnels underground this will show you as they built a "mock" tunnel above ground with viewing panes so you can see how fast these dogs go through a very small tunnel. The point is to "get the rat" at the end. You will see a girl with her hand in a fur pouch wiggiling it at the end of the tunnel. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H0GW-Y6YHqw&feature=related "If there are no dogs in Heaven, then when I die I want to go where they went." I just watched the little boy and dog video; such fun. I think all those people that feel little dogs are best for children need to watch something like this one - no way could a little dog tolerate that kind of climbing and playing. I know my own son is very lucky to have big dogs in very good shape, as they can essentially shrug off his rough housing and attempts at dog back riding. I have had to spend a lot of time with teaching the dogs the difference between people/child and dog playing, especially with teeth, pushing and jumping, but they are doing very well with him now. I also feel much safer with 2 decent sized dogs around to handle any potentially difficult situations. The earth dog videos were fun, as well. Maybe I need one of those little guys to catch mice in the house, and get rid of the groundhogs in the woods.
