Might as well make it unanimous!

I'm happy to report no mess in the house this past week! Shaggy don't ever get spanked or abused in any way, just loved and that's what he responds to. I have seen the results of an abusive dog owner and believe me it aint pretty, cowering away and obviously scared why do people do this to their pets? Makes me mad as hell! Back on track I've tried to get an impression of his paw but is it difficult! Shaved of all the hair cut nails now try and hold the little tyke still! Rolling on the floor laughing

Balance in all things, of course, and each dog, like each person, responds differently to different situations. Fear training is never a good way, though. Some people should never have pets, or children - both require lots of patience and ability to think as they do. It sounds like you have done well with your buddy, keep up the good work. Just remember not to reward poor behavior by consoling, petting, or similar - that behavior gets ignored or corrected as appropriate.
Most important, of course, is to have fun with them all!
