Many rescue dogs are well adjusted pets that come from happy homes and are victims of divorce, death, tornado, hurricanes and the like. Unlike those situations Annie my Bishon Frise spent her first five years in a puppy mill. Here is a link to my rescue experience. Thanks for input, there are indeed many wonderful dogs looking for a good home. Just like before getting any dog, whether from a breeder or shelter, do your homework first to limit the potential for a bad match between person and dog.
