Many of the new Echinacea cultivars have poor branching. They are often sold as plug-sized plants and often don't survive winter. I have tested Configureâ„¢ on my plants and it has shown to improve branching and decrease plant loss.

Clint this is a very helpful article on growing Echinacea, does it do the same thing for perennial salvia?

Lynn - I have tried it on several plants. I used it on a Sempervium and it produced chicks within 3 weeks! It should work for almost any plant. It worked on Penstemons for me as well.

Is it the same stuff as gibberelic acid? I have some that some one sent me.
That is amazing about the semps. The wheels are turning. Rolling my eyes.

I bet anything it will work better than that. This stuff is amazing. I've never seen anything like it. With Echinaceas it will produce growth at the crown of the plant within one week.

I know several people who purchased this by going to the Fine Americas, Inc. website. If you click on the map, it will have your state. That will give you the distributor for your area. This is how I got mine last year. It's kind of expensive, but keep in mind that it lasts a long time because such small amounts are needed.

Just looked, nothing in Oregon. : ( It doesn't appear that they sell it online either. I wil check around and see if our feed store can get it for me.

Lynn - Try this number 800-888-4545 - I believe this is the distributor that you would go through. Tell them you want to test the product on your plants and they might send you a sample. There's always a chance!

I contacted them. All they have that they would send was a large container (think it was 1/2 gallon). They don't seem to have sample size. Way to much for me. Oh well, not life threatening. : )
