It's not as orange as I expected, but I love the colors...especially the yellow in the middle. Note: These are short-lived Echinaceas and should be considered annuals or two-year plants. Thumb of 2010-08-09/clintbrown/ac7f3a

I've not seen this one before. Looks like it would be pretty with Hot Papaya!

Wow, that's just beautiful! And it really changes, from the early stages to the fully-opened stage. I only have the old-fashioned cone-flowers, so they don't change that dramatically.

I like it, but it didn't like me. It's in Coneflower Heaven enjoying the Maui Sunshine.

Clint, it sounds like you also have contributed your fair share of coneflowers to Coneflower Heaven.

Yes. I never lost an Echinacea until the new varieties came out. The people who sell them try to say it's drainage that kills them. I do not believe that is it. I think they are just inferior plants.

My Lowe's has 3 Marmalade plants that are tagged correctly and I almost bought one but since I have one coming this week from Santa Rosa I resisted. Rolling my eyes. Big Grin

I don't think I will try it again. The color wasn't good as promised and the plant had one bloom and didn't winter.

Resistance is futile so they say. I'm still thinking about it. Drooling $12.98 x 10% military discount makes it even more tempting and I have room for it since my Smith order didn't pan out. I'm trying hard to be good. Angel
