Lee, you have to stock up when you find a bargain. I looked at the photo gallery of Ebert's Greenhouse Village web site. They have some nice landscaping.

BobNJ, Max is Back started their sale. You can get 6 perennials and or flowering shrubs for 25% off. That is 11.25. So you can get it if you buy multiples. Or 4 for 15% off.

One of my local nurseries is having a 50 % off sale Saturday and they have Tomato Soup, Cheyenne Spirit and Green Eyes. Tomato Soup is marked at $19.99 so I'll pay $10 and Cheyenne Spirit is $12.99. Today I bought this rudbeckia Cherokee Sunset for $3. If there are any left on Saturday I'll get another one.

There's a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore looking like an idiot.

I was there today and did get 4 echies . I blame the first one on Lee's pictures of Tiki Torch. Also picked up Fatal Attraction - Maui Sunshine and of course another Now Cheesier plus a couple of Heuchera to get to the 6. Where you there today?

The color isn't quite accurate in this picture, I'll get a better one tomorrow. I plan to get one or maybe two Tomato Soup Saturday. Too bad that they don't have much to choose from.

I can't buy any more coneflowers. They are taking over my yard.

You said it Bob. Love this one. Would like to do a whole mound of these and Salsa Red. That would be nice.

Karen, in those beautiful pictures you posted of your yard and coneflowers, I saw a lot of beautiful green grass still. You're probably like me, I hesitate to till up any of my beautiful green grass, plus flower beds do make more work.

Honestly, when I created all those beds I was younger and healthier. It really is becoming overwhelming for me. Also, now that we've got our new-found freedom (my elderly Mother died, my husband retired), we want to travel more. These things just don't lend themselves to gardening on such a large scale. I'll have to cut back soon.

I just ordered one from Garden Harvest Supply and am looking forward to growing it this year. I hope it does as well for me as everyone else who has it.

I'm anxious to get it. I held back for a long time before pulling the trigger.
