Echinacea Hybrid Discoveries forum: Single stem issue on my seed cross

This is one of my "wavy" bloomed plants from seed. You can see it has a single huge stem supporting 15+ good sized blooms. I normally would have hacked it back a bit to push it to get more basal growth... but i let this one plant go to to see what happened. I has held up to a few good windy storms too. So i guess the single stem issue isn't just a fancy cloned variety issue.

Well i just noticed to new basal growth points popping up in this guy... so it should hold on through the winter. I am saving seed on this too for anyone that is interested when the swap comes later.
