This is a fairly good yellow so far... though I bet it will fade. Its not this intense.. the camera saturated it a bit.

I had it last year but it died. The color is great though.

It is a nice yellow. How long do you have it?

Only a couple of weeks. I don't remember who I bought it from but I think it was Romence.

How is the yellow holding up ? I saw some today and the plants were very nice. I noticed on the tag that they get taller then most and I could use a tall yellow for back of the garden.

It's holding up much better then the small Cleopatra.... though we have had cloudy and rainy weather for a long stretch

Was at the nursery where i picked up the 'leilani' last year and they had planted a bunch in a small bed. They look great in mass and holding the color really well for a yellow. They also had a few 'glowing dream' plants in stock too... which had a nice red/purple color. The flowers were a bit weather worn from the buckets of rain we have been getting. Looks like a 'solor flare' though.

Found them on sale and they had nice branching so gave one a try. Friend at garden center said they are holding yellow longer then the other yellows they have had.

If it continues to do well for you then maybe next year I'll buy another one. I lost 2 last year, both from Romence. I still love my yellow Cheyenne Spirits. Both are slightly different hues and slightly different flower shapes. Meteor Yellow is starting to open its first bloom and I'm anxious to see how it hold up and how deep the yellow is. Since it's a Terra Nova plant I'm trying not to get too excited.

I think paradoxa holds its yellow just as good as any yellow. People forget there is a yellow that is reliable from seeds that is more hardy too.

Clint, being new to this can you direct me to some info on collecting seeds, which echs you can or can't grow from seeds, and raising them from seeds. I know this is pretty general but perhaps some good articles or videos you would recommend? No rush obviously. Thank you.

Bob, I'm glad you are not holding your breath on the Yellow Meteors color, it is much more pale (for me at least) than the ad pictures. It is the same yellow as the pale CS yellow. Not that it's bad, just not what I expected. I like the yellow of NJBob's Secret Glow much better.

That yellow center is pretty, too bad the rest of the bloom isn't that color. Mine is still not fully open.
