Notice the awesome red color and number of blooms. These are leaning some because they are on the north side of the house with the Heuchera, but I like the effect of these with the Heuchera blooms in the distance.

Mine has just opened it's first few flowers. Clint you are right about the great color. I really like the white tips on the ends before they fully open.

Thanks Clint. It is the perfect red. I have one from last year that did well also without afternoon sun. So, what did I do with it? Moved it out by the mailbox and it has not been happy about that. I think it getting better finally getting some blooms ready soon.

Bob, the white tips and under sides do make it. Great contrast.

Picked this up at a meijer's for a decent price. I like how the backsides of the petals are white.

I don't think the phone camera knew what to do with all the red.

Really pretty.
There's a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore looking like an idiot.

NJ Bob, your Route 66 definitely likes its growing conditions.

(I think at the beginning of the summer when I was pulling weeds out of my planter, I pulled mine up. After I'd pulled up the weeds, I realized what I had done.)
