they say you have to wait for the 'double decker' to actually become double... but this one into it's third year with not much to show for it. It's a giant plant too....

My DD isn't a double either but it's trying. This is a two year old plant.
There's a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore looking like an idiot.

My Double Decker coneflower succumbed to Aster Yellows last summer. It did Double Decker for several years and then it eventually went back to not being a double decker.

Mine gave me one or two flowers a year and the rest were single. It was given away with the rest of the purples when I redid the garden.
