This is a volunteer plant from last year but it's not pink like the others. Notice it's almost white and the petals are not drooping at all. I've got this plant in about 75% shade and 25% sun and these blooms are close to 2 weeks old. There is a slight pink undertone to the petals which really can't be seen in the photograph. Very large blooms with excellent form. I like it.

There's a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore looking like an idiot.

Nice. I think it's fun to see the various colors that are possible. Hurray!

I have plants blooming now from last year's seedlings that are almost all different. This one came from the same batch of seedlings that has produced plants of all heights, sizes and shades of pink. I have one that is almost as deep as PW Berry. These plants amaze me with their variety. There is even one with quilled petals.

They are so much fun. I just started growing Delosperma a few years ago, and they are fun too.

That's commonly known as a ice plant, right?

Santa Rosa Gardens was promoting them awhile back but they don't fit my type of gardening. But, they are pretty.

My echies would probably overwhelm them and don't they need different growing conditions than echies?

Actually I have flower beds with Echinaceas and these at the edge of the flower bed. Delosperma cooperi does really well with mine.

I'll keep that in mind for future reference.
