Either my eyes are playing tricks on me or you've got an off color Solar Flare. Your bloom color is strong Magenta. I've grown it for 3 years and have never seen that color. However there is always a first time. Shrug!
There's a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore looking like an idiot.

I think it's solar flare.... The iphone messed with the color and maybe me saving the jpg messed with the color. Both photos are way to saturated. I will reshoot and post. I don't know what else it would be though?

It's the right shape but not the right color. I've never had one return which is too bad because I really like it. My other gripe is that it fades quickly.

I'm sure that is Solar Flare but either your camera's color balance is way off or your plant is off.

I looked at some of the pictures you posted last year and the color looked right in them, this looks more like Pow Wow.

Strong magenta - red, not the color of Solar Flare Imo. Don't get me wrong I'm not trying to be critical of it but it doesn't look right.

I agree.... Not solar flare. I have a definite solar flare that is getting close to blooming and it's different. So I gotta find out what it is

You may find that the color fades too soon. I have grown 3 of them and white I love the color none came back more than a 2nd year.

Nice but changes from red to purple way too fast.

Saul's plants have lots of faults and this is a good example. But they're not the only one. Just look at Cleopatra.

Lost a major growth point on this one but still looks nice. I think some critter trampled it.
