This one open all yellow . After a few days the cone gets redder and then the red in the petals starts to show up. These have been open about a week now , will have to wait to see how far the red spreads.

NJ Bob, I Googled your Evening Glow. That coneflower will be a good one to have if it comes close to the advertisements.

If yours comes out like the pictures, it's going to go on my "need to buy" list for next year. Glowing Dream is also on my list for next year. Even though I am hoping all of the ones I have now overwinter and then I will not have room for any new ones next year.

(I just found a picture and description of it here.)

Mine has the sign too but no plants. However they did get a shipment of DS Cranberry on Wednesday. ($11.98)
There's a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore looking like an idiot.

Thanks for sharing Bob. I was going to get a couple of those this spring but I just ran out of time. Keep us updated.

This is the flower after a couple of weeks, more of a purple then a red in the center. Best color was a few days ago but the rain was in the way of getting pictures.

I like the 2 different colored flowers on the plant at the same time.

I agree--the yellow flower and the more purplish one.

Any updates on this one Bob? I have wanted that one for a while and curious if I should add next year. Thanks.

It has been growing well, and re-flowers a decent amount. The test will be overwintering. Color wise it is nice , but nothing great. It opens a nice yellow and the color they advertise does not last long before it gets the purple shading as in the picture above. It is interesting to have the 3 color on the plant at the same time.

I am pretty sure it overwintered (missing tag) and will let you know for sure . A lot of mine have not flowered yet but should be soon.

Alright Bob, thanks. I did get one this year but it's fairly small yet.

It did overwinter, but I have to admit this one does not do that much for me. Interesting that it has the 2 different colored flowers but neither to me is a great color.
