I lost 2 Leilani and a Secret Affair. Agastache Coronado Red is not dead yet and I still have 2 Leilani out of 7 plants I bought. With a bit of luck all 3 will be ok. 2 Leilani and a Secret Affair died same day and Leilani died yesterday even though I planted it in fresh potting mix. All were sitting in a tray and I didn't get to them for a few hours. Too much water for too long. Mature plants would have been ok but not plugs.
There's a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore looking like an idiot.

Does the Tomato Soup bloom look different than a Cheyenne Spirit bloom? Truer red or larger bloom?

Kansas Bob, sorry you lost three of your newly purchased plants or plugs. Plus you lost varieties that are "harder to come by."

It's a true red and shaped like Cheyenne Spirit but more open. The petals are spaced farther apart.

Thanks for your sympathy for the lost plants. I made a mistake in leaving them where they got rained on plus they were in a tray which compounded the problem. If the remaining 3 live I'll be happy.
